At 24, Paulo is now a full member of the Angola National Team.
He made his debut during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, but the death of his mother largely overshadowed his tournament.
The following year, at the FIBA Africa Championship in Tripoli, he had a perfect substitute’s role, scoring 5.7 points and grabbing 2 rebounds in only 14 minutes; he had an amazing 67.7 shooting percentage too.
Coming out of this event, Paulo opted to give new life to his club career, deciding to join the newly created Libolo alongside several other international players and National Team colleagues.
