Media accreditation system


Media accreditation for upcoming FIBA events

This section will allow you to apply for media accreditation for all upcoming official FIBA events and championships.

These services are available to professional media representatives worldwide and are designed to ensure that application for accreditation is kept simple and free from administrative hustle. We remind you that only professional members of the media will be considered for accreditation.

Please note that the procedures described below are accreditation applications only and thereby do not guarantee the granting of press passes.

Applicants will be informed of the success of their accreditation requests as specified below. For certain Championships there are two accreditation periods. For Championships with two-phase accreditation, all things equal, priority will be given to media having applied during the first phase.

Only applications completed and submitted online within the media accreditation application deadlines will be taken into consideration.

Media can apply for accreditation to FIBA's upcoming Championships as follows:

2013 FIBA U19 World Championship for Men in Prague, Czech Republic (27 June-7 July)
The accreditation process is now open and will close on Monday 17 June. Answers as to the status of applications will be provided at the latest by Friday 21 June. Click here to fill out the registration form. The password is FIBA2013.

2013 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women in Lithuania (18-28 July)
The accreditation process is now open and will close on Friday 5 July. Answers as to the status of applications will be provided at the latest by Friday 12 July. Click here to fill out the registration form. The password is FIBA2013.

2013 FIBA 3x3 World Tour (20 July-6 October)
No application deadline. Media are requested to turn-up and register on site. For further information, please contact communications@fiba.com.

2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championship (26-29 September)
No application deadline. Media are requested to turn-up and register on site. For further information, please contact communications@fiba.com.
